Background:

The careless cutting of a tree for a road development project by the National Highway Authority (NHA) in Kerala resulted in the death of numerous birds, and a video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The event was reported in this district's Randathani neighbourhood.

The Action:

A detailed study was conducted and analysed that the cutting of trees was unscientific and had no measures considered to relocate or safeguard the animals and birds depended on the same. The concessionaire has fell down the trees where cormorants birds were died.
